CourtageIQ ("we", "us", "our") operates CommissionIQ, a commission-tracking application for property and casualty (P&C) insurance brokers in Quebec. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under applicable privacy laws, including Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as modernized by Law 25).

1. Who is responsible for your information

• Account information: your name, email address, and password (passwords are stored in encrypted form by our authentication provider).
• Business data you enter: client records, policy details, premiums, commission splits, partners, endorsements, and renewal information that you input to use the service.
• Billing information: when you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we retain a Stripe customer identifier and subscription status.
• Usage information: login dates, login counts, and last-active timestamps, used to administer accounts and trials.
• Contact form submissions: name, email, phone, and message when you contact us.

3. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the CommissionIQ service.
• To manage your account, free trial, and subscription.
• To process payments through our payment processor.
• To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the client/policy data you enter for any purpose other than providing the service to you.

4. Where your information is stored

Your data is hosted by our infrastructure providers (Supabase for the database and authentication, Vercel for application hosting, and Stripe for payments). These providers may store or process data outside Quebec. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected in accordance with applicable law.

5. How long we keep it

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you close your account, we delete your account data, subject to any retention required by law.

6. Your rights

Under Quebec law you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate information;
• Withdraw consent or request deletion, subject to legal limits;
• Lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
